Looking back, I’ve had some really terrible anatomy on this blog o_o
Also, Hi.
I’ve been away for quite a while.
Some people have caught me answering questions over at ask2pgilbert.tumblr.com
But, anyway, lets see if I can revive this thing

Her head poked up, hair strewn in her face as she stared incredulously at the music-producing device. First off, how did it turn on (okay, the remote was close, but not THAT close…) and second… The smooth chords of an old, melodious song made her eyebrow quirk with slight bewilderment and faint nostalgia. This song…

A soft smirk appeared on her face as she rested her chin to her knees, sighing and chuckling to herself. It wasn’t even that great of a song. Tacky, even. But Gilbert always found it amusing, and they’d even danced to it a few times…

Elizaveta rolled her eyes and scoffed before running a hand through her hair to clear it away from her face. “My electronics are really attuned to you, apparently…” she mumbled aloud to herself, glancing from the radio to the TV and Xbox.

“Psh you don’t even know the half of it” Gilbert was glad to finally see a slight smile on her face again. He sat back and ran his fingers through her hair, singing along quietly with the song. Gilbert fluttered out of the kitchen and settled himself on the back of the couch behind Gilbert.
Gil sat there contently for few minutes before deciding to turn the TV back on, just to mess with her. He reached over to the remote and pressed the power button, flipping the TV on, then turned to see Lizzy’s reaction. She always had the best reactions to these sorts of things.

Of course she jolted. The news sprang on without warning, the reporter’s voice stirring to sudden life. Her jaw dropped and she planted her feet from the couch to the ground abruptly. “What the-…” Sure, she was used to her appliances randomly turning on and off throughout the day, but never in such short intervals like now. “Something has to be wrong with my electricity,” she grumbled, reaching for the remote, spotting Gilbird in the process, an occupant who had decided to make itself at home after the loss of its master. “Oh, shoo you silly animal, you’ll molt all over my couch,” she hissed at the yellow bird.

Gilbert laughed loudly to himself. Yep, freaking her out was totally worth it. He moved the remote a little ways away from her, as much as he could manage.
“Nothin’ wrong with the electricity, babe, just your resident guardian asshole messing with you.” He chuckled. It was times like this he really wished she could hear him. Man, that would really freak her out.
“You gonna take that from her, Gilbird? Go ahead, teach her a lesson.” He pet the little birds head a few times, before it flew over to nest itself in Lizzy’s hair.

A sound of aggravation escaped her as Gilbird decided to aloft on top of her head. “Augh, I give up!” she huffed. In any case, she found it sort of cute and sad that Gilbird like to stay with her… He did all the things he used to do with Gilbert with her now, such as follow her around the house, sit in her hair or on her shoulder… The poor little ball of down was lonely, it seemed. Or confused.

She looked to the remote again, wondering how it managed to get a whole pillow seat away. She hadn’t moved around that much, had she? Looking to the TV and stereo, she decided she might as well leave them on. Perhaps it’d turn off itself too… Grumbling, she stood up.

“Let me guess, you came in here because you’re hungry?” she asked the little bird, placing her hands on her hips. “Well, in that case, I’ll get us both something to eat, hm?”  Elizaveta drug herself to the kitchen, getting out a small bowl and a bag of birdseed, pouring a good amount in it before placing it on the counter. “There you go.”

Gilbert followed Lizzy into the kitchen. He really did appreciate her taking care of Gilbird in his absence. He sat himself up on the counter right next to the sink to watch her work. As strange as it sounds, he actually missed her cooking, terrible as it was. Maybe it was an acquired taste.
“Whatcha gonna cook today, Lizzy?” He asked to the air, not expecting her to answer. What he wouldn’t give to truly be able to interact with her again

Gilbert watched as Lizzy went through her normal after-work routine. The light in her eyes seemed to dim a bit more each day. She was practically a zombie now with how she shuffled through life.
He followed her movements and when she went to sit down, he moved over so she could have his spot. He slung an arm around her shoulder even though he knew she wouldn’t feel it. It made him feel better to at least try to comfort her. He’d already caused enough shit for her in his life, so now he was doing his best to make it up to her.
“How was work, Lizzy?” It was pointless to say, he knew she couldn’t hear him. But it was comforting to go through their old routine.

It was then that the pressure of her problems seemed to drape itself across her shoulders. She felt her chest tighten. Her lips drew in as she tried to keep control of herself, but she knew it was already too late. A small tear rolled down her cheek as she let out a small, sobbing gasp, hands finding their way over her face and heart as it wrenched with pain.

So many thoughts ran through her head that the poor woman barely could sort them out before more emotions rushed over her. Why did they have to die? Why did he have to die? Why must it hurt so much? It wasn’t fair.

The urge to just throw the nearest object (the remote of course) at the wall was tempting and great, but she just couldn’t find the energy to do it. Rather, she drew her knees to her chest and curled into a huddled ball on the couch, shaking and rocking.

“Ah shit shit shit! Lizzy no no don’t start crying” Gilbert proceeded to freak out. He was always bad at comforting crying people, especially crying women. Being dead didn’t help all that much either.
He tried rubbing her back, but it seemed not to help much. Gilbert sat there in worry till an idea struck him. He got up and walked over to turn the stereo on, setting it to a certain song before returning to the couch, hoping it might cheer her up in the slightest.

Gilbert sat quietly on Lizzy’s couch. A game over screen flashed before him, but he made no move to continue. Lizzy would be home any minute and he saw no point in starting a new game. He leaned back on the couch, stretching out, before getting up and putting the controller by the TV.
He flopped back down on the couch to wait, but a noise at the door caught his attention and he disappeared in a blink.

A heavy sounded from her as she got out of her car, methodically shutting the door, keys jingling in her limp hands. Elizaveta blinked slowly a few times, just standing there in a sort of daze before moving towards her house, feet dragging. Work hadn’t even been exhausting. She was plagued by other things…

With a dark, anxious sigh, she fumbled with the lock before slowly opening her front door, stepping inside. Immediately the bag slung over her shoulder hit the floor, and her  shoes weren’t far behind. It was then that she strode over to her living room, welcomed by none other than her TV on, and Xbox humming with life as the screen flashed with bright red font, showing nothing other than “Game Over”. She furrowed her brow, irked. It seemed things just liked to turn on in her house and move every now and again… It had been that way only a few weeks after-…

Her green eyes shadowed to the memory as she went and turned the game off, the TV too. She was used to these anomalies by now, despite their weirdness.

With a disgruntled huff, she sauntered over to the couch before lounging down on it, finding it odd that the cushions seemed sunk in, and warm. She had been gone all day, so how could this be? Had someone visited? The only person who had a pair of keys to her house was Roderich, and he barely stopped by anymore…
